We had the privilege and an opportunity to host a Western Clinic held by Mr. Robert Laney from the USA.
Two days of useful information, gained knowledge and fun.
Therefore we would like to thank Rob from the bottom of our hearts.
The topics covered in two days were exactly what we needed:
Day one – round pen
- Horse psychology in the herd
- Looking for a Leader
- Round pen- not just for exercise
- Reading your horse’s personality.
Day one 2nd part and Day two, the topics:
- Cleaning and checking your horse.
- Tacking up and keeping your horse happy.
- Then on to work in the saddle:
- Lunge line to work on balance
- Reins are an aid, not the handlebars where the brakes are, like a bicycle.
- 3 “buttons” on a horse.
- Stay square in the saddle.
- RIDE your horse, you’re not a passenger!
